The Go Digital Project

Go Digital is a pilot project for Digital TV. It is converting 300 real homes in the West Midlands to full reception of Digital TV. The purpose is to understand the social, technical and public awareness factors affecting the conversion of homes to Digital TV. In particular we are comparing people's attitudes to Digital TV before and after conversion, and comparing expectations for the service with people's actual experience.

Go Digital is a collaborative project involving 18 member companies and organisations, the first 30 homes have been converted from February 2002 with the remaining 270 from June. All research will be complete by the end of the year.
